Education and Outreach

There are many ways funding for education and outreach are critical to our goal of helping more families and kids.  Support in this area means:

• We can print curriculum, brochures, tip sheets, and presentations for partner agencies to distribute to the families and kids we serve.  For example, we're able to absorb a hard cost for the family resource center that allows them to impact more families.

 

• Our training team can purchase more tools to help educate more people; for example, the robotic toy doll that helps parents understand the effects of Shaken Baby Syndrome.

 

• We can strategically utilize our business community to align with The CAP Center's programs to reach more families; for example, a sporting goods store distributes a bike safety tip sheet with every bike helmet purchase.
